My name is Radka. I graduated from the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brno, Czech Republic in 2004. After finishing a PhD program at the Department of Small Animal Surgery and Orthopedics, I relocated to the United States where I completed a one year small animal internship at the Hollywood Animal Hospital in Hollywood, FL in July 2010. Then I undertook 2 years of an ophthalmology internship at the Animal Eye Center in Loveland, CO. After returning to Europe, I started my residency training at the University of Zurich under the supervision of Bernhard Spiess and Simon Pot in April 2014.

Dr. Kellam Bayley
I graduated in 2005 from Massey University in New Zealand. After several years in practice I traveled to the UK to complete my RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2011.
I am currently practicing in Wellington, New Zealand, and I will begin my alternate residency training program with Dr Tony Read in Adelaide, Australia in 2014. Throughout the training period I will be splitting my time between supervised training in Adelaide, and maintaining an ophthalmic service in Wellington.
My name is Karin Berggren and I graduated in 2008 at the veterinary school in Uppsala, Sweden. During the studies I worked at a small animal clinic but also with large animals. I started to work at the Referral Animal Hospital Strömsholm in February 2008. In june that year I attended the Swedish programme for becoming a small animal specialist. My name is Martí Cairó and I graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2012. After graduation, I untertook a one year small animal internship in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the university. Dr. Daniel Costa
I graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 2009. Afterwards, I performed a post-grade course in veterinary ophthalmology at the same university (2010), a one year rotating small animal internship at the private referral Ars Veterinaria in Barcelona (2010-2011) and a Master of Science in clinical research (2012-2013). I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College London in 2003. After nine years in general practice, during which time I developed a strong interest in ophthalmology, I undertook an internship in Ophthalmology at the Animal Health Trust. I started my residency at the Royal Veterinary College in July 2014.

Dr. Stamatina Giannikaki
I graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Greece in 2012. After a brief start in a first opinion practice I undertook a two year surgical rotating internship at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of AUTH. At that point I had the opportunity to visit several well recognized referral centers and see practice with board-certified veterinary ophthalmologists in USA (University of Florida) and Italy. I graduated from the National Veterinary School of Lyon (France) in 2012 and did a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine at this university. Dr. Keiko Miyadera
Keiko Miyadera is a native of Japan and obtained her degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tokyo, Japan in 2005. She subsequently completed an internship in small animal surgery at the University of Tokyo Veterinary Medical Center. During her time at the University of Tokyo, she carried out research with Profs Hiroyuki Ogawa and Nobuo Sasaki on hereditary diseases in small animals. She moved to the UK in 2006 to pursue a PhD in molecular genetics at the University of Cambridge, Department of Veterinary Medicine, with supervisor Dr David Sargan , and advisor Dr Cathryn Mellersh . My name is Tobias Revold and I graduated from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich in 2000. After graduating, I have mainly been working in equine practice, from 2002 at the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science in Oslo. My name is Gwendolyna Romkes. After I grew up in the Netherlands, I took the chance to do my studies in other European countries. I graduated in veterinary medicine at the university of Gent in 2005. My rotating internhip I absolved at the university of Munich in 2006-2007 with a one-month externship at Dick White Referrals in Cambridgeshire. Now I have the great opportunity to do my ophthalmology residency at the university of Berlin from 2009-2012 with Prof. Dr. Corinna Eule as my supervisor. After my basic science course of three weeks in Raleigh in 2012, I was able to extend my stay in the U.S.A. with a valuable two weeks visit and the opportunity to learn from Prof. R. R. Dubielzig at the ocular pathology laboratory of the University of Wisconsin in Madison. In the three years between my further education I worked as a locum veterinarian in different private practices in the Netherlands. I like the ophthalmology for its diversity in cases and species and I enjoy working precise and handle delicate instruments and material. I graduated from Alfonso X El Sabio University (Madrid) in 2009. After working several years in a general small animal practice, I completed both a rotating internship and a six-month comparative ophthalmology internship at Vets Now Referrals in the UK. In 2014, I obtained the post-graduation diploma in Veterinary ophthalmology by the Universitat Autonoma of Barcelona (Spain). In June 2015, I started an opthalmology residency at Clinica Veterinaria Roma Sud in Italy, under the supervision of Dr Nunzio D'Anna.
